Dr. Dahan is a physiatrist with a subspeciality in EMG, spasticity treatment (Botox injections), and neurological rehabilitation. An assistant professor in the medical department at the Université de Montréal, Dr. Dahan also works at the Institut de Réadaptation Gingras-Lindsay de Montréal. She treats patients hospitalized with spinal cord injuries in intensive functional rehabilitation. She is also chair of the accountability/performance review committee. She practices at the CDN Physiatry Clinic in EMG, spasticity (Botox injections), neurological rehabilitation, and performs musculoskeletal consultations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from McGill University, a medical degree from the Université de Montréal, and completed a residency in physiatry (physical medicine and rehabilitation) from the Université de Montréal. She also holds a specialty in EMG, movement disorders, and Botox injections for spasticity from McGill University and the Université de Montréal. Dr. Dahan is also a member of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

A physiatrist is a physician who specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of different illnesses affecting the musculoskeletal and neurological systems. He or she coordinates the patient’s rehabilitation.
